Basil (Linalool) may not be suitable during pregnancy. Use with care on sensitive skin. Chemotype-dependent. Estragole (methyl chavicol) chemotypes require strict restriction; generally avoid during pregnancy/breastfeeding and use cautiously where estrogen‑dependent cancer history is a concern. Patch test / skin sensitivity possible.
